Leo Du Sud Sarl was founded in 2003 by Salma Sebbar, a woman with a deep connection to the land and a powerful vision for the future. Starting in a small warehouse with limited means, Salma built the company from the ground up — motivated by one mission: to deliver the natural richness of her homeland to the world.
In the early years, Leo Du Sud focused exclusively on fresh fruits and vegetables, sourced directly from trusted small-scale farmers. These early partnerships were based on transparency, fairness, and mutual growth. Every product was hand-selected, and each shipment was personally overseen — not just for quality, but to uphold the promise behind the brand..
Growth didn’t happen overnight. It took patience, persistence, and belief. The team faced logistical challenges, weather disruptions, and global market fluctuations. But through every challenge, Leo Du Sud remained committed to its values: quality, reliability, and respect — for partners, customers, and the earth.
What we are
As client demand increased, the company expanded its logistics capabilities and began exporting across borders. By 2010, Leo Du Sud had entered the European market, followed shortly by growth into Russia, the UAE, and China. With each new country, Leo Du Sud adapted — maintaining its high standards while learning the unique needs of each region.
Then came a defining moment: 2020. During a time of global uncertainty, Leo Du Sud saw both a challenge and an opportunity. Responding to the shifting demands of the global food supply chain, the company expanded into the export of high-quality frozen fish. Once again, the foundation was quality — selecting only the best, sustainably sourced seafood, processed under strict hygiene and cold-chain standards.
This strategic move allowed the company to diversify its portfolio and better serve global importers seeking not only freshness, but flexibility and consistency. Frozen fish quickly became a core part of the business — delivered with the same integrity that defined its agricultural roots.

Today, Leo Du Sud is proud to be a trusted partner to wholesalers and importers across four continents. Our team works daily with producers, logistics partners, and quality controllers to ensure that every shipment — whether it’s citrus, tomatoes, green beans, or frozen fish — arrives fresh, safe, and on time.
And yet, despite our growth, our essence has never changed. We are still grounded in human values, we still know our producers by name, and we still believe that honest business can make a global difference.
